You can always buy 1.4 on Amazon. Note that the resellers on Amazon may sell older copies. Please let us know if you have any problem.

How can we make sure the reseller is selling the latest version (1.4.5). Is buying directly from Amazon itself guaranteed the latest one?

Sorry that we authors cannot control what the version sold by reseller is the latest one. However we are pretty sure Amazon is always selling the latest one.
