To the authors,
(@adnanaziz, @tsunghsienlee, Amit Prakash)
I looked around and could not find an answer to this anywhere in the forum or in the book. It would be really appreciated if the authors could kindly release the code solutions in the book under a permissive license such as the public domain Unlicense. At the moment it is neither possible to determine this by looking at the source files nor is there a LICENSE file in the GitHub repository for EPI.
It would help foster contributions and makes things clear for anyone who wants to:
- use it as part of their own work;
- and/or build on top of existing code solutions and create other puzzles / scenarios, etc.
If attribution is really an issue, then perhaps use the MIT license.
PS. It would be good if other forum members can like this post to signal their view on the above.
